I stumbled upon these rare and delicate plates in a lovely flea market in the southwest of France. They are hand-decorated and probably come from Gien. They are simple, discreet and tasteful, just like the violet flowers that I am particularly fond of.
- 8 ironstone plates. Violet pattern and green border. Probably from Gien. Colors: white/cream, purple and green.
- Used condition. They bear the marks of time (see photos) without this altering their beauty.
